Creation
The saying goes, ‘seeing is believing’. Seeing the heavens and the earth, the evidence of a higher power is evident though we cannot fully understand all the mystery.
As we look deeper into nature and ourselves, the intelligent designs behind them become obvious. We see the work of God’s magnificent wisdom and grandeur.
Some try to explain God away by choosing to believe His creations in speculative hypothesis. Some struggle to reconcile God’s supernatural power by focusing on the workings of His creations. They stumble in darkness and are clueless as to the origin of life and the intelligence behind them.
"But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you; Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know That the hand of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?" Job 12:7-10
Some people dismiss the possibility of God’s Six-Day-Creation of the heavens and the earth without fully understanding the eternal nature of God or comprehending the scriptures of Genesis 1:1-2:25.
God is the inventor of time. God’s day is timeless and its length is in His pleasure. The Bible reminds us of the relativity of His time: “… do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8
The six-day creation is in accordance with God’s days and not ours, which is based on the time of our solar cycle. They also assume that the six-day creation in the Bible is only about matters of the earth. Not surprisingly they relate all creations of heavenly firmaments, light, air, water, etc. to earthly time and perspective. In fact, the scripture talks about God’s creation of the heavens, earth, and all that is in it from God’s perspective and time. When God said on the first day “Let there be light”, He was referring to His domain, the entire universe.
Our perception of a day is derived from the cycle of our solar system, which was not created until God’s fourth day of creation.
"Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the fourth day." Genesis 1:14-19
The discoveries of various prehistoric fossils of giant insects and animals offer us a glimpse of the era before Noah’s flood. Nephilim, giants, and man’s longevity on the earth in those days of renown are mentioned in Genesis 6:3-4. Indeed scriptures from Genesis to Revelation reveal much more than we realize.
Again when God said: “Let there be light” Genesis 1:3, it was an intelligently controlled occurrence leading to purposeful creations, not random chaotic event of chance.
We witness our solar system operating in a fine-tuned orderly manner making it a powerful testimony of a purposeful intelligent design. Just as we see man-made satellites circulating the earth, we would not doubt they are objects of intelligent creations.
The crown of God’s creation is life and intelligence. Only the omnipotent God can give Life and bestow Intelligence for each species according to His design. And the jewel of His crown is the creation of human in God’s own image giving us intelligent life and soul, so that we can know Him.
Brains regardless of kind, shape, or size, from mammoth brain to pinhead brain, birdbrain or fish brain, they are all amazingly programmed to carry out incalculable functions of complex abilities in their environments enabling the species to live, feed, communicate, learn, adapt, fight, build, propagate and to fulfill their purpose as God intended. Great is God’s ingenious creation.
Our advent in electromagnetic technology and nanotechnology may one day allow us to mimic and understand further our highly sophisticated brain. But there can be no explanation of life and intelligence when God is taken out of the equation.
If we investigate nature’s awesome designs and its functions closely, we will find they are purposeful in every aspect. Science seeks proof. What better proof than our own intelligence. Man-made designs are mirroring God’s intelligent designs, making our intelligence an indisputable proof from God.
Theory and hypothesis are often placed under the same banner of science, but without the benchmark of proof.
The Big-Bang theory sounds like a page from Genesis. It has the elements of explosion, light, energy, power, speed, and expansion. But the shebang fails to mention who triggered the explosion and the intended purpose. Our current scientific discovery is revealing the outlined sequence of the creation in Genesis from human’s perspective and time. The Bible, however, concisely depicted God’s creation for human to understand it now and then.
The Evolution hypothesis speculates that time is the answer to all the variations of species through adaptation. The theory remains false. The fact is adaptation is limited to the intelligent provision of its original design detailed for each species.
One would think it is foolish to believe a jackass could eventually evolve to sprout fins or wings, or become wise enough to grow its own food through time and adaptation. Except in science fiction, a jackass will be a jackass a million years from now.
The theory of Evolution may gain traction in the secular world to deny the existence of God for personal agenda. But it is without the knowledge of truth. “They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.” 1 John 4:5
“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” Matthew 16:26
Time itself cannot produce the splendor what we see in nature. For time without stipulation only produces stagnation and stipulation without purpose produces random chaos. If the Evolution theory has any merit, the phenomenal in between sequential species, so-called ‘missing-links’ would be everywhere. The only missing link here is common sense.
The law of God remains true through time. Each matter is encoded with specific characteristics for its function and purpose. And each abides within the boundary of its law. When interfering beyond their intended purpose, it fails to function. Evolution or mutation occurred through adaptation only within the physical and biological boundary of the law. Therefore the presence of the remarkable variety of species only makes logical sense from the perspective of divine intent not by chance and time.
The pseudo Evolution-theory is an illusion blindsiding the truth of creation. It is just a hypothetical footnote and should never be adopted as a mainstream school curriculum, depriving the young minds the knowledge of God. How long must we allow the secular hypotheses circumventing the truth and continuously leading more future generations to wander in darkness?
If we care to refresh our appreciation of God’s ingenious creations, observe the remarkable diversity of intelligent life in places such as Madagascar, Amazon, etc. and also ponder on the wonders of our own body. One would return to sobering sense of reality making it difficult to be an honest atheist.
"Did You not pour me out like milk, And curdle me like cheese, Clothe me with skin and flesh, And knit me together with bones and sinews?" Job 10:10-11
Science helps us to understand the ingenious design of God’s creations, but by no means invalidates the Creator.
God’s fundamental law of element is immensely powerful and versatile yet extremely simple. Real scientific effort helps us to decipher the elegant designs of God. It continues to validate God’s intelligent creation through discoveries of information in intelligent codes of DNA, matters, particles, sub-particles, and through experimentation of quantum mechanic, super-conductor behavior etc.
Science's quest assists us to peer into various facets of nature and to understand God’s provision enabling us to benefit from them. It is foolish to think life and intelligence can be evolved from nothing. It would even be a greater mistake and a terrible waste of time to believe our life is no more than just a short existence on earth by chance with no apparent reason.
The anti-God pseudo theories and the anti-Christ false prophets are on the two sides of the same coin. Their agenda only claims more souls for the dark side. The season is short and the end of the current phase of humanity is near. It is more important to secure our eternal life with God than to waste valuable time entertaining man’s folly in false speculative hypothesis allowing them to sabotage humanity’s chance for salvation.
God has given us definitive answers in the Bible of all we need to know about God’s creation and His plan for our salvation. For the inquiring mind, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
